From the Elbe to the Pearl River Delta

A famous Hamburg song tells of how on the Reeperbahn, centre of the city’s nightlife, people can be found in the wee hours of the morning dancing and revelling. But far to the east, in Shanghai, others are also keen to enjoy some music and good times. When Hamburg, Germany’s second-biggest city, puts on a show in front of the German Pavilion at the EXPO from 29 to 31 May 2010, back home the Reeperbahn Festival will be getting under way. And to celebrate the Chinese echo of the goings-on along Hamburg’s “party mile”, the band “Revolverheld” will be on hand on 31 May 2010 to give a concert at the EXPO’s Europe Square. Also featured from Hamburg will be the quartet “Salut Salon”, which will perform on 30 May 2010 on the stage of the German Pavilion, “balancity”.
