The team supporting pavilion director Urte Fechter has arrived in Shanghai. Everybody has moved into the apartments, and the accreditation for the EXPO-Site is being carried in the pocket at all times. Wearing good shoes and warm-keeping clothes, the small team of approximately 20 persons is heading to the EXPO site. For most of the assistants, who arrived on the first of February, it means, that they will see the German Pavilion for the first time. Even though the building of balancity, in which they will work for the next nine months, seems to be more like a building shell on a gigantic construction site, it is already impressing with its exceptional architectonic shape.

Until the rest of the team of 230 persons arrives, there is still a lot to do. Since the bureaus will not be finished until the end of this week, the team works, discusses and confers in the living rooms of the apartments or in restaurants – followed by tasty Chinese food.
