The KAP Forum in Cologne is dedicated to the world of architecture and design, making it an ideal venue at which to showcase the German Pavilion. On Wednesday 29 April 2009, it will host an information event with representatives of the EXPO 2010 German Pavilion project, starting at 7 p.m. Wolfgang Löffler, General Manager of the project will explain the role of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. The Ministry is in charge of the project and has commissioned Koelnmesse International GmbH to coordinate the preparations and run the pavilion. The tasks that involves will be the subject of the talk by Dirk M. van der Coelen, Managing Director of Koelnmesse International. Lennart Wiechell, an architect at Schmidhuber + Kaindl in Munich, knows the architectural design of the German Pavilion better than anyone else – after all, he created it! Peter Redlin, Creative Director at Milla und Partner in Stuttgart, is the mastermind behind the exhibition design, which he will be presenting at the KAP Forum. The evening will be compered by Christian Hümmeler, an editor with Cologne’s Kölner Stadtanzeiger newspaper.
